Fifth graders from Room 301 & 303 began the year giving a fabulous first impression to their teachers. Over the summer, 17 fifth graders worked on math, Spanish, and reading activities to keep their skills fresh. They documented their reading in a variety of genres and enjoying showing off their book projects to their classmates during the first full week of school. Classmates were given an opportunity to get some great book recommendations to start off the year in Reader's Workshop.
Special congratulations goes to the following students for submitting 100% of their summer assignments: Leah, Jadah, Jolie, Emily, Miriam, Naomi, Alim, and Zevian. That was a lot of work! Check out some of their book projects and literature letters in the picture.
