FMA Fourth Graders Study the States

FMA Fourth Graders Study the States
Posted on 03/07/2018
MIFourth graders in Room 305 finished their 50 States Unit in Social Studies by completing a State Float on a chosen state. Students researched capitals, major cities, state flags, birds and trees, major landforms, and interesting facts about states as close as Maine and as far away as California. The fourth-grade state experts had the opportunity to show off their hard work and creative abilities at a showcase in their classroom. Families and FMA staff walked around the State Float gallery and got to interact with the state experts. So if you're thinking of taking a vacation somewhere in the United States, make sure to ask 305 students for their advice on what to see and do!
