Tree Poems from Ms. Martin's Class
Seasons --Jadah Depina
Leaves always changing
Long branches move with the wind
Sometimes they break in stormy weather
In the winter they fall down
to the floor and sidewalk
In spring they are yellow
yellow as a spotted lizard
In the summer we see flowers
White with orange middles
A Conversation --Erika Saravia Fernandez
Trees oh trees, oh how I love trees
“Tell me about you”.
“Well my branches are dancing with the wind,
lets not talk about my roots that always hug the earth”.
Trees oh trees oh how I love trees
“Tell me more about you.”
“Well I am towering as you know.
I have feelings just like you so don’t hurt me.
My leaves change forever.”
Trees oh trees oh how I love trees
“Tell me more about you.”
“Well my leaves are always green as a green apples ,
Yellow as a banana and orange as a orange fruit.”
“Nature needs me always.”
“I’m living a lovely life.”
Trees oh trees oh how I love trees
“I have to go now, I will see you later.”
“Well, I’m always here”
