We’re continuing to shine a light on Autism through this month of April.
This week at our monthly community meeting, staff from our neurodivergent group shared a presentation with our school.
Some students participated and some students were recognized for their contributions to our community.
Many staff and children wore blue and many others wore specialized FMA “inclusive” apparel in support of Autism awareness and acceptance.
Also at our school library our librarian (Chelsea) has a section of books about and related to autism. Staff and children are encouraged to visit, learn and share.
To learn more about Autism, resources and beyond please look out for FMA’ily messages all month!
