On Saturday, June 8th, attendees at the Habitat in Belmont donned silk flowers and came together for an elegant tea to honor FMA’s beloved Mrs. O.

The outside tea party was fit for a queen—complete with vintage cups and saucers, various varieties of tea, quiche and dainty sandwiches. The piece de resistance was the dessert: high-heeled cupcakes, not only fashionable, but delectable, thanks to the Astrove Family.

Class photographs and family photos filled the bookcases and tables. Mrs. Lincoln and the FMA students created centerpieces which decorated the tables, adding to the beauty of the perfect day.

Mrs. O’Sullivan’s family attended, including her daughter and beautiful granddaughters, as well as her sisters and other close relatives. Memorable speeches were given by Superintendent Salim, Council Member Fred Fantini, former colleagues, teachers, friends and family. Each person shared unique memories and the special ways Mrs. O have touched their lives, as she has touched each of ours.
