Hello FMA parents and guardians,

We are excited to welcome students back to school in just a few days! Leading up to the first day of school, there are a few important tasks that parents/guardians must complete.

My name is Daniel Skeritt your family liaison, welcome if you are new to our school community, if you are a returning caregiver welcome back. We are so happy about the many things that will take place during the next 10 to 11 months of school. Student success, family engagement, caregiver input and communication are a few of the key components. If you need support or have questions, please reach out to me [email protected] (857.270.3351 or call our main office 617.349.6588).

School Culture, Technology and Cell Phones:
Ensuring schools are safe and conducive to high-quality instruction includes fostering a healthy relationship between students and technology. As in the past, elementary school students will not be permitted to access cell phones during the school day. In recent years our students in grades 6th through 12th have also benefitted from building-based protocols restricting access to cell phones during the school day. We are fortunate in Cambridge to have the resources to ensure all necessary communication systems during emergencies. For this reason, and because we seek to elevate the quality and impact of the time students are in school, we will continue to impose restrictions on cell phone use during the school day. For our upper school communities, this will mean the continuation of the practice of securing cell phones for the entirety of the day. For our students in grades 9 through 12, including CRLS, we are preparing for the distribution of secure holding pouches that will allow students to secure their phone for the duration of the school day.

Community Fair:
Meet community partners, learn about community services, access free supplies, backpacks, resources, and clothing!
