How we use technology at school can be different from how we use technology at home, and it is important that we understand the difference. In order to use our School Technology, you must meet our School Technology Expectations:

I promise to be kind:

I will always treat others online as I would like to be treated.
I will offer help to others who need help with their technology.

I promise to work hard:

I will only use School Technology to help me learn more about what I am learning in my classroom.
I will only use web sites that my teacher has approved.
I will not use school technology to play games that are not educational.
I will only use my school accounts on school computers and I will not try to login to my personal email or social media accounts.

I promise to be responsible:

I will be very careful with school technology because it can break very easily.
I will leave School Technology even better than I found it (logged out, cleaned up, plugged in).
I understand that usernames and passwords are private and I will not share my account information with other students.
I will not change the settings on any of our School Technology without a teacher’s permission.
I will not install or delete apps on our computers and iPads.

I promise to respect others and myself:

I will never create or share text, sounds, or images that might hurt somebody’s feelings or make somebody feel uncomfortable.
I will not plagiarize; I will always give credit to the author for words and images I include in my work.
I understand that using school equipment is a privilege not a right, and this privilege can be taken away if I do not meet these School Technology Expectations.
I understand that my teachers know that I am a good person and that I will try very hard to keep this privilege.
